duties:
- An internationally established Fruit Export Company is seeking to appoint an organized and motivated all-rounder Receptionist / Office Administrator to join their team. This position is based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. Responsibilities:
- Ordering of office stationery, groceries, and cleaning equipment as well as products weekly and in line with the allocated budget.
- Stock control of the office supplies.
- Capturing of daily exchange rates on the software system.
- Answer the switchboard and receive guests by offering and preparing refreshments as required.
- Data capturing.
- Collecting post monthly from the Post Office.
- Update and maintain the staff birthday calendar by sending out reminders, arranging gifts for birthdays, and decorating office space.
- Making bookings for office functions (tables / venues and/or activities incl. transport for office functions).
- Opening and closing of the office for cleaners or contractors occasionally on a weekend as required.
- Filing of documents.
- Book accommodation and/or flights for staff locally and internationally.
- Pick-up and delivery of items for the office or for management.
- Liaise with contractors and service providers for office repairs and maintenance.
- Arrange all courier items (incoming or outgoing).
- Manage the tasks of the office cleaning staff.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 Certificate
- Relevant Office Administration / Secretarial Certificate
- At least 3 â 5 yearsâ experience within a similar role.
- Valid Driverâs License and own reliable transport is a must.
- Ambition to grow within a company.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office etc.)
- Willingness to complete a variety of duties as and when required including personal errands in line with the company requirements.
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans & English.
